  Sunit Chowrasia completes hat-trick of wins with four-shot triumph at DP World PGTI NexGen Varanasi

  Sunit emerges 2026 DP World PGTI NexGen Order of Merit champion; Earns full card for 2027 DP World PGTI season

  Thirty-one-year-old Sunit Chowrasia of Kolkata carded a final-round of three-over 73 to secure a four-shot victory at the inaugural INR 25 lakh DP World PGTI NexGen – Varanasi played at the BLW Greens Golf Course.

  Chowrasia (67-64-73) finished the week at six-under 204 to claim his third consecutive title on the DP World PGTI NexGen. The victory follows his triumphs at the Alpha Sports Academy Golf Championship hosted by Patna Golf Club in March and last week's Vijay Kumar Memorial in Lucknow, making him the first player in NexGen Tour history to win three consecutive events.

  DP World PGTI makes debut in Varanasi with staging of NexGen event at BLW Greens from June 16

  The DP World Professional Golf Tour of India (DP World PGTI) will make its debut in the historic city of Varanasi with the sixth event of the NexGen season scheduled to be played at the BLW Greens golf course from June 16 – 18, 2026.

  The DP World PGTI’s first-ever tournament in Varanasi offers a prize purse of INR 25 lakh. The event will be played over three rounds (54 holes) with the cut being applied after two rounds (36 holes). The top-36 players and ties will make the cut for the third and final round.
