  Vishesh Sharma wins maiden title on home course at Telangana Golconda Masters

  Local favourite Vishesh Sharma held his nerve through a dramatic final round to secure his maiden professional title at the INR 1 crore Telangana Golconda Masters at Hyderabad Golf Association.

  The 19-year-old closed with a one-under 69 to finish at 21-under 259, one stroke ahead of Noida’s Amardeep Malik in the tournament’s 12th edition.

  Local favourite Vishesh Sharma and Noida’s Amardeep Malik moved into a share of the halfway lead at 14-under 126 after the second round of the INR 1 crore Telangana Golconda Masters at Hyderabad Golf Association.

  12th edition of Telangana Golconda Masters tees-off on September 1

  The DP World Professional Golf Tour of India (DP World PGTI), the official sanctioning body of professional golf in India, will be staging the Telangana Golconda Masters 2026 at the Hyderabad Golf Association (HGA) from September 1 – 4, 2026. The prize purse for the event is INR 1 crore.
