    Englishman Tommy Fleetwood seals title with super 65 in final round of inaugural DP World India Championship

    Tommy Fleetwood of England ran up four birdies in a row in the middle of the round to take a decisive lead and then never looked back to take home the inaugural DP World India Championship at the Delhi Golf Club, which was teeming with fans on either side of the fairways.

    Fleetwood walked onto the 18th green with a two-shot lead and could afford to miss a birdie and still win by two. Fleetwood finished at 22-under as Keita Nakajima, whose record in India has been fantastic with one win and two seconds in three starts, carded 69 and finished 20-under.

    Japan’s Keita Nakajima produced a red-hot seven-under 65 to emerge leader by two shots after round three of the US$ 4 million DP World India Championship 2025 being played at the Delhi Golf Club (DGC).

    Nakajima (65-69-65), a former Indian Open champion, totaled 17-under 199 following his bogey-free effort on Saturday, to gain three spots from his overnight fourth position.
