    Sri Lankan N Thangaraja came up with a classic six-under-66 in round four of the BDT 50.00 lac City Bank American Express Chittagong Open 2018 to cruise to a thumping six-shot win. Thangaraja, the overnight leader by two shots, bagged his third PGTI title as he ended the week with a record total of 22-under-266 at the magnificent Bhatiary Golf & Country Club (BGCC) on Saturday.

    India’s Veer Ahlawat carded a three-under-69 on the final day to finish runner-up at 16-under-272.

    Sri Lankan N Thangaraja exhibited some outstanding iron-play during his flawless five-under-67 in round two of the BDT 50.00 lac City Bank American Express Chittagong Open 2018 that gave him an outright one-shot lead at 12-under-132.

    Bangladesh’s Md Sajib Ali kept the flag flying high for the host nation as he carded a second round of four-under-68 to be placed tied second at 11-under-133 along with India’s Aman Raj who also struck a 68 at the Bhatiary Golf & Country Club on Thursday.

    City Bank American Express® Chittagong Open 2018 to begin on 21st March

    The 2nd City Bank American Express® Chittagong Open 2018, an International Golf Tournament, will be held at Bhatiary Golf & Country Club (BGCC), from 21st to 24th March, 2018. The tournament is jointly sanctioned by Professional Golf Tour India (PGTI) and Bangladesh Professional Golf Association (BPGA) and approved by Bangladesh Golf Federation (BGF). This is for the 2nd time that an International golf tournament is being organized at BGCC. There will be a total of 126 professional golfers from home and abroad participating in this tournament. The total prize money for the tournament is BDT 50 lac.
