  Jaibir Singh & Shaurya Singh top the leaderboard in Pre Qualifying I

  Forty-one players qualify for Final Stage

  Bengaluru-based amateur Jaibir Singh (71-71) and Delhi’s Shaurya Singh (73-69) topped the leaderboard at the end of round two of the PGTI’s Pre Qualifying I for the 2017 season being held at the Kensville Golf & Country Club near Ahmedabad. Jaibir and Shaurya both ended up with two-day totals of two-under-142.

   

  A total of 41 players qualified from Pre Qualifying I for the Final Qualifying Stage as 10 players were tied in 32nd position when the cut was declared at nine-over-153.

  Akash Modi's 70 gives him first round lead at Pre Qualifying I

  Mumbai-based amateur Akash Modi fired a two-under-70 to take the lead in round one of the PGTI's Pre Qualifying I for the 2017 season being held at the Kensville Golf & Country Club near Ahmedabad.

   

  Akash posted four birdies and two bogeys in his opening round.

   

  Delhi's Ikramuddin Shah and Bengaluru-based amateur Jaibir Singh shot scores of one-under-71 to be tied for second.

  PGTI Qualifying School 2017 begins in Ahmedabad on January 10

  The Professional Golf Tour of India’s (PGTI) Qualifying School for 2017 will be held at the Kensville Golf & Country Club, Ahmedabad, from January 10 – 20, 2017.

  
  

  The First Stage of the Qualifying School will comprise of two 36-hole events – Pre Qualifying I and Pre Qualifying II. While Pre Qualifying I will be staged on January 10 – 11, Pre Qualifying II takes place on January 13 – 14.
