  Ashok Kumar of the DLF Golf & Country Club, Gurgaon, prevailed in a playoff over Chandigarh’s Ajeetesh Sandhu to lift his 13th PGTI title at the Rs. 50 lakh PGTI Masters 2016 being played at the Classic Golf & Country Club in Mewat, Haryana.

  
  

  Ashok Kumar (68-67-70-66) and Ajeetesh Sandhu (65-71-68-67) were in a deadlock after the regulation 72 holes as both totaled 17-under-271.   Chandigarh’s Ajeetesh Sandhu and Bengaluru’s C Muniyappa held a one-shot advantage after the third round of the Rs. 50 lakh PGTI Masters 2016 which is being played at the Classic Golf & Country Club in Mewat, Haryana.

  
  

  Ajeetesh Sandhu (65-71-68) fired a four-under-68 while C Muniyappa (68-67-69) returned a three-under-69 in round three as both held the joint lead with identical totals of 12-under-204.

  Vikrant Chopra's blistering eight-under-64 propels him to the top on day 2

  Noida’s Vikrant Chopra followed up his first round even-par-72 with a scorching eight-under-64 in round two of the Rs. 50 lakh PGTI Masters 2016 to take the second round clubhouse lead at the Classic Golf & Country Club in Mewat, Haryana.
