    Ashok Kumar ends five-year victory drought with thrilling playoff win

    M Dharma claims runner-up position

    Delhi’s Ashok Kumar ended his five-year victory drought with a spectacular playoff win at the Rs. 1 crore CG Open 2015. Ashok defeated M Dharma of Bengaluru on the second playoff hole after the two had ended the regulation 72 holes with identical totals of 12-under-268 at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club (BPGC).

    Delhi’s Honey Baisoya, Noida’s Gaurav Pratap Singh and Abhinav Lohan of Faridabad were joint third at 11-under-269.

    M Dharma edges ahead with a 63 on the penultimate day

    Ashok & Vijay shoot scores of 62 to be tied second

    Bengaluru’s M Dharma put himself in position for a second title as his seven-under-63 handed him a one-shot lead in round three of the Rs. 1 crore CG Open 2015. Dharma’s total score read 11-under-199 at the end of the penultimate round at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club (BPGC). Delhi’s Ashok Kumar and Vijay Kumar of Lucknow shot the week’s joint best scores of eight-under-62 to be one stroke adrift of the leader in tied second.

    Abhijit Singh Chadha & Mandeo Singh Pathania share halfway lead

    Chandigarh’s Abhijit Singh Chadha and Greater Noida’s Mandeo Singh Pathania shared the halfway lead at the Rs. 1 crore CG Open 2015 with identical totals of seven-under-133. While Chadha shot the day’s joint best of five-under-65 in round two, Pathania produced a two-under-68 on a high-scoring day at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club (BPGC).
