  Udayan Mane secures maiden title in rookie season with resolute one-shot win in Jaipur

  Rookie Udayan Mane of the Eagleton Golf Resort, Bangalore, secured his maiden title in only his seventh professional event as he registered a memorable one-shot win at the PGTI Players Championship at Rambagh Golf Club in Jaipur. Mane shot a three-under-67 in round four to end the week with a total of 16-under-264. Kolkata’s Shankar Das, who carded a four-under-66 in the final round, finished runner-up at 15-under-265.

  Udayan Mane in second place, Sujjan Singh shoots hole-in-one to be placed third

  Chandigarh’s Abhijit Singh Chadha maintained his lead at the PGTI Players Championship at Rambagh Golf Club with a tenacious two-under-68 in round three to be two clear at the top at 15-under-195. Udayan Mane of Bangalore hung on to second place at 13-under-197 after firing a 67 on day three. Sujjan Singh, another Chandigarh golfer, fired a hole-in-one on the 11th during his round of 65 that propelled him to third place at 12-under-198.

  Abhijit Singh Chadha surges ahead in round two at Rambagh

  Abhijit Singh Chadha of Chandigarh surged ahead by three shots in round two of the PGTI Players Championship at Rambagh Golf Club after a splendid five-under-65 that took his total to 13-under-127.   PGTI returns to Jaipur with the PGTI Players Championship at Rambagh Golf Club

  The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) will stage the PGTI Players Championship at the Rambagh Golf Club, Jaipur, from September 29 – October 2, 2015. The tournament carries a prize purse of Rs. 30 lakh. 

  
  

  The field at the Rambagh Golf Club will consist of 120 professionals and six amateurs. The leading Indian professionals participating at the event include Shankar Das, Shamim Khan, Chiragh Kumar, Khalin Joshi, Mukesh Kumar, Om Prakash Chouhan, Harendra Gupta, and Shubhankar Sharma, to name a few.
