  K Prabagaran claims maiden title with playoff win against Om Prakash Chouhan

  Sri Lankan K Prabagaran claimed his maiden professional title with a playoff win against Om Prakash Chouhan of Mhow at the PGTI Players Championship at Coimbatore Golf Club. Prabagaran sealed it with a par on the second playoff hole even as Chouhan missed an eight feet par putt. Both Prabagaran and Chouhan had earlier ended the regulations 72 holes with matching scores of nine-under-279.

  Noida’s Amardip Sinh Malik surged ahead on day three of the PGTI Players Championship at Coimbatore Golf Club after firing a three-under-69. Malik’s three-day total of nine-under-207 placed him one shot ahead of the rest. Delhi’s Naman Dawar posted an even-par-72 to lie second at eight-under-208.

  Delhi golfer Kapil Kumar went ahead by two shots in round two of the PGTI Players Championship at Coimbatore Golf Club. Kapil followed up his course record 65 in round one with a three-under-69 on Thursday to move his total to 10-under-134.   Noida’s Vikrant Chopra and Kapil Kumar of Delhi smashed the course record with scores of seven-under-65 to grab the joint lead in round one of the PGTI Players Championship at Coimbatore Golf Club. Shubhankar Sharma of Gurgaon lies in third place at five-under-67.
