    The Avantha Masters will be played at a new venue and on a different date in 2013 when the fourth edition of the tournament is held from March 14-17 at the Greg Norman-designed Jaypee Greens Golf Course, in Greater Noida near Delhi, India.

    Kolkata’s Rahil Gangjee earned playing rights for the 2013 Asian Tour season after he finished tied 21st at the Final Stage of the Asian Tour Qualifying School held at Hua Hin, Thailand.     Chowrasia finishes tied 17th in Abu Dhabi

    SSP Chowrasia returned a two-under-70 on the final day of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship to finish tied 17th at the $2.7 million European Tour event. Chowrasia, who posted a tournament total of seven-under-281, finished seven strokes behind the winner Jamie Donaldson of Wales.

    Chowrasia (73-73-65-70), who had fired the best score of the week, a seven-under-65, in the third round, produced five birdies and three bogeys in the final round.
