  Abhishek Kumar produces tournament low of 64 to register sensational come-from-behind victory at DP World PGTI NexGen 2026 in Faridabad

  Abhishek Kumar produced a tournament low score, a sublime bogey-free eight-under 64, in the third and final round, to register a sensational come-from-behind victory at the INR 25 lakh DP World PGTI NexGen 2026 played at the Aravalli Golf Club in Faridabad.

  Panchkula-based 24-year-old Abhishek Kumar (72-73-64), who was overnight tied 10th and eight shots off the lead, delivered eight birdies in the last round including five on the trot to outshine all his rivals as he ended the week with a tournament total of seven-under 209.   Aditya Raj Singh Chahal builds five-shot lead in round two

  Aditya Raj Singh Chahal shot a four-under 68 in round two to build a five-shot lead at a total of seven-under 137 at the DP World PGTI NexGen 2026 being played at the Aravalli Golf Club in Faridabad.

  Jaipur-based Aditya (69-68), the overnight joint leader, came up with an eagle, five birdies and three bogeys on day two to emerge as sole leader at the INR 25 lakh event.

  Jujhar Singh (69) and Santosh Kumar (73) were tied second at totals of two-under 142.

  Sunny Singh (72) and Arjun Bhati (72) were tied fourth at one-under 143.

  The top 43 players made the cut which was declared at six-over 150.

  Aditya Raj Singh Chahal, Vipin Raghuvanshi, Santosh Kumar in joint three-way lead on day one of DP World PGTI NexGen season-opener in Faridabad

  Aditya Raj Singh Chahal, Vipin Raghuvanshi and Santosh Kumar were in a joint three-way lead after round one of the DP World PGTI NexGen 2026 being played at the Aravalli Golf Club in Faridabad. The three players shot scores of three-under 69 to hold the joint lead at the DP World PGTI NexGen season-opener.

  The quartet of Ramesh Kumar, Divesh Rana, Lakshya Nagar and Pranav Kaul were one shot off the lead in tied fourth position.

  Aditya Raj Singh Chahal scored an eagle, four birdies and three bogeys while Vipin Raghuvanshi made an eagle, two birdies and a bogey. Santosh Kumar drained an eagle, three birdies and two bogeys at the INR 25 lakh event.

  The 2026 DP World PGTI NexGen Season tees-off on February 24

  The 2026 DP World Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) NexGen season is set to begin from February 24.

  The NexGen Tour was launched by the DP World PGTI last year with the objective of providing equal playing opportunities to all Professional Golfers of India and to increase the bench strength in Indian golf which in turn increases competition and the level of golf. The NexGen also aims to take professional golf to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities in India, thus expanding the reach of the sport within the country.

  The prize purse for each NexGen event has been increased from INR 20 lakh to INR 25 lakh this season.
