  • N Thangaraja bagged three wins on the PGTI in 2025, along with two runner-up finishes and six other top-10s to finish second on the PGTI Ranking with earnings of INR 1,18,21,821. He won the Ahmedabad Open Golf Championship presented by IndusInd Bank, Chennai Open Powered by CPCL and the Bengaluru Open Powered by IndianOil, during the season.

 

  • N Thangaraja’s third place finish at the TATA Steel Tour Championship 2024 along with four other top-10s in the same season saw him claim 17th position in the PGTI Order of Merit.

 

  • Thangaraja won the Vizag Open 2023. In the same season he posted four other top-10s to take 12th place on the PGTI Order of Merit.

 

  • Thanga clinched a runner-up finish at the Impiger Technologies presents Chennai Open 2022 powered by Fruitnik Electro+. He had six other top-10 finishes in the season including two top-3s. Thanga thus secured 15th place in the PGTI Ranking in 2022.

 

  • With five top-10s in 2019, Thangaraja ended 11th in the PGTI Order of Merit.

 

  • A win at the City Bank American Express Chittagong Open, a joint runner-up finish at the Golconda Masters and five other top-10s saw Thangaraja secure 10th place in the PGTI’s money list in 2018.

 

  • Thangaraja claimed four top-10s in the 2017 season to finish 23rd in the PGTI’s merit list.

 

  • N Thangaraja finished 14th in the 2015 TATA Steel PGTI Ranking after he won the PGTI Players Championship by Panchkula Golf Club and posted four other top-10s.

 

  • He had a runner-up finish at the Standard Chartered Open 2014 and secured five other top-10s during the 2014 PGTI season.

 

  • Thangaraja won the PGTI Players Championship at Noida during his rookie season on the PGTI in 2013. He was runner-up at the Dialog Enterprise International the same year and claimed another top-10 on the PGTI to finish 12th in the PGTI Order of Merit.

 

  • He is a winner of four amateur titles. He won the Sri Lankan Amateur twice, the Pakistan Amateur once and the NCR Cup in Delhi in 2012.

 

  • Thangaraja was a semi-finalist at the All India Amateur Championship in 2011.

 

  • He made it to the Sri Lankan national squad in 2009 and was part of Sri Lanka’s Asian Games team in 2010.
