Rashid Khan tied 26th on day one of Asia Pacific Open Mitsubishi Diamond Cup

Himmat Rai tied 16th at Ballantine's Taiwan Championship

Rashid Khan carded an even-par-70 on day one of the Asia Pacific Open Mitsubishi Diamond Cup in Ibaraki, Japan, to be placed tied 26th. Khan was thus six shots off the lead at the event co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and Japan Golf Tour.

Rahil Gangjee and Gaganjeet Bhullar were both in tied 62nd place having shot scores of two-over-72.

Digvijay Singh returned a 74 to be tied 95th while Arjun Atwal was a further shot back in joint 108th.

SSP Chawrasia and Jyoti Randhawa were both in tied 120th place with matching scores of 77 while amateur Viraj Madappa's 78 placed him tied 128th.

At the Asian Development Tour's Ballantine's Taiwan Championship, Himmat Rai posted a four-under-68 in round one to be tied 16th, two off the lead.

At the European Tour's Porsche European Open in Germany, Shiv Kapur produced a three-under-68 to lie tied 34th, four off the pace.

Jeev Milkha Singh was tied 98th with a round of even-par-71.
