Atwal in tied 18th, four Indians make cut at Asia-Pacific Open Golf Championship
Arjun Atwal (69-72) came up with a one-over-72 in round two of the Asia-Pacific Open Golf Championship to take his total score to one-under-141. Atwal closed day two in tied 18th place, four shots behind the leader Adam Bland of Australia at the 150 million Yen (approximately US$1.5 million) event jointly sanctioned by the Asian Tour and Japan Golf Tour.
Jyoti Randhawa and SSP Chowrasia were in tied 27th at even-par-142.
Anirban Lahiri was the fourth Indian to make the cut in tied 45th place. His total read one-over-143.
Rahil Gangjee (four-over-146), amateur golfer Pratap Atwal (nine-over-151) and Rashid Khan (12-over-154) missed the halfway cut of two-over-144. Digvijay Singh, who had shot a 76 in round one, withdrew from the event in round two.
