Yuvraj Sandhu begins with a 68 in Spain to be placed tied 16th
Yuvraj Sandhu fired a round of four-under 68 to be placed tied 16th after the opening day of the DP World Tour's Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship being played in Barcelona, Spain.
Yuvraj, playing his first full season on the DP World Tour this year, had a respectable tied 43rd finish in Turkiye last week where he also made his first cut of the season.
The 29-year-old Sandhu, made an impressive start this week too as his 68 placed him four shots behind the leader Shaun Norris of South Africa.
Yuvraj made three birdies on the front-nine and followed that up with a couple of more birdies and a bogey on the back-nine.
Sandhu made two conversions from a range of 10 to 13 feet and also made a tap-in.
Shubhankar Sharma, the other Indian in the field, struck a one-under 71 featuring three birdies and two bogeys to be placed tied 70th.
