Karan Taunk tied second, close to making final stage of Asian Tour Qualifying School
Karan Taunk's birdies on the last two holes helped him move into second spot in the Asian Tour Qualifying School’s First Stage Section A at the Royal Thai Army Sports Center. Taunk, who was lying third after the second round, carded a one-over-73 in round three to end the day with a two-under-214 total.
Taunk lies 14 shots behind runaway leader Simon Griffiths of England, who carded a three-under-69 in the penultimate round to get to 16-under-200.
Mitchell Brown (74) is also tied second at two-under.
