Anirban Lahiri shot a final round of 70 to clinch tied 13th place at the Valero Texas Open
India’s Anirban Lahiri (68-73-69-70) shot a final round of two-under 70 at the Valero Texas Open on the PGA Tour to finish tied 13th at a total of eight-under 280.
Anirban, making his first start since his runner-up finish at THE PLAYERS Championship three weeks ago, continued his fine form at TPC San Antonio this week as he moved up two spots to 55th position in the FedExCup standings.
Anirban also climbed two spots in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR), moving up to 87th place.
The tournament was won by American J.J. Spaun who totaled 13-under 275 for the week.
Lahiri made five birdies against three bogeys in the final round on Sunday.
