Shubhankar Sharma shoots an immaculate 63, last day's best score, to finish tied 32nd at Cazoo Open
Shubhankar Sharma (70-71-77-63) shot an immaculate eight-under-63, the best score of the final round, to finish tied 32nd at a total of three-under-281 at the Cazoo Open supported by Gareth Bale.
Shubhankar sank an eagle-two on the par-4 15th along with seven birdies and a bogey during his phenomenal last round of 63 at the European Tour event played at The Celtic Manor Resort.
Sharma, as a result of his final round exploits, jumped 34 spots on the leaderboard from his overnight tied 66th.
The tournament was won by Spaniard Nacho Elvira after he outclassed South African Justin Harding in a playoff. The two players headed for the playoff after being tied at the top with matching totals of 16-under-268 at the end of the regulation 72 holes.
