The tournament venue is an award winning international 9-hole championship Golf Course designed by Gary Player. We look forward to a successful event this year and building our alliance with PGTI. Wishing you golfers the very best.”
Mr. Uttam Singh Mundy, CEO, PGTI, said, “We’re delighted to add a new tournament and venue to the PGTI schedule with the staging of the inaugural Glade One Masters at the Glade One Golf Resort & Club, Ahmedabad. We thank Glade One for their support to PGTI in these challenging times. The Glade One Golf Resort & Club is fast emerging as a popular resort course in Gujarat and we’re confident that the professionals will relish the experience of playing at this outstanding venue. The unique format for the event also makes for a thrilling week of golf.”
Chikkarangappa said, “The Glade One Golf Resort has a charm of its own. It has some tricky holes with water bodies and of course its standout features are the island green and an island tee. An island tee is something that I’ve never seen before so it adds to the uniqueness of this course. I would like to thank Glade One for their support to the PGTI especially in these challenging times. I’m really looking forward to playing at this magnificent course.”
Viraj Madappa said, “I really like the layout here at the Glade One Golf Resort. It’s a very challenging course, the tee shots are quite demanding, holes quite lengthy and with the wind against you, a lot of the par-5s can play even longer. There are a lot of hazards here such as water bodies and bunkers which can trouble you if you don’t hit good shots. All of us professionals playing on the PGTI are very appreciative of Glade One Golf Resort’s support in staging this event. I’m excited about competing at this amazing venue for the first time.”
