Shubhankar Sharma ends day three in tied 13th at the Italian Open

India's Shubhankar Sharma ended day three in tied 13th place at the Italian Open as he shot a third round of one-over-72 that took his total to six-under-207.
 
The reigning Asian Tour Order of Merit champion Shubhankar made four birdies at the expense of five bogeys at the Olgiata Golf Club on Saturday that saw him slip 10 spots from his overnight tied third.

Sharma, who was in tied third place for the first two days, now trails the leader Matthew Fitzpatrick of England by seven shots.

Shubhankar is in line to improve on his best finish on the European Tour this season which was tied 17th at the BMW PGA Championship.
