Chawrasia's four-under-67 places him tied 17th on day 1 of Made in Denmark
SSP Chawrasia's opening round of four-under-67 placed him tied 17th at the European Tour's Made in Denmark event.
Chawrasia, the current No. 2 on the Asian Tour, began with a birdie on the 10th and followed that up with three more birdies on the 15th, 17th and fourth during his flawless round.
SSP was placed three shots behind the joint leaders Englishmen Steve Webster and Matt Wallace and Australian Wade Ormsby.
Gaganjeet Bhullar, the other Indian playing the event, started the week with a three-over-74 to occupy tied 127th place.
Elsewhere, at the PGA Tour's The Northern Trust, being played at Old Westbury in New York, Anirban Lahiri returned a five-over-75 in round one to be placed tied 110th.
