Lahiri closes round three in tied 11th at Wyndham Championship

Gangjee claims tied 20th at Fiji International

Indian star Anirban Lahiri battled to a third round two-under-68 to take a share of 11th place at 11-under-199 at the PGA Tour’s Wyndham Championship on Saturday.

Lahiri (65-66-68) marked his card with one eagle and three birdies against three bogeys to stay five shots back of leader Henrik Stenson of Sweden at the Sedgefield Country Club.

The 30-year-old Lahiri, 2015 Asian Tour Order of Merit champion, is chasing his first victory on the PGA Tour. His recorded his best result when he finished tied-second at The Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide in June.

At the European Tour’s Fiji International, India’s Rahil Gangjee (69-72-70-72) claimed tied 20th place at five-under-283 after his final round of even-par-72.

Shubhankar Sharma (75-71-69-69) shot a second straight three-under-69 to close the week in tied 24th at four-under-284.
