Rahil Gangjee rises to tied 22nd after a 70 in round five of the European Tour Q School
Top-25 to earn the card after round six
Rahil Gangjee fired a two-under-70 in round five of the European Tour's Qualifying School in Spain to rise 10 places to tied 22nd.
Gangjee thus raised hopes of securing his card as the top-25 after the sixth and final round will earn full playing rights on the European Tour.
Rahil shot scores of 68, 69, 73, 71 and 70 in the first five rounds to total five-under-351.
His fifth round featured an action-packed front-nine where he made four birdies and two bogeys. The 38-year-old former Asian Tour winner had a sedate back-nine with pars all through.
The sixth and final round will be played at the PGA Catalunya Resort on November 17, 2016.
