Chikkarangappa claims joint ninth place at Mercuries Taiwan Masters
Chikkarangappa S (71-74-72-74) of India returned a final round score of two-over-74 to claim tied ninth place at the Asian Tour's Mercuries Taiwan Masters.
Chikka totaled three-over-291 to finish eight shots behind champion Lu Wei-chih of Taiwan at the US$ 800,000 event.
Chikka, who was overnight tied 11th, moved up two places in the last round. His fourth round of 74 featured three birdies and five bogeys.
Himmat Rai finished tied 15th at five-over-293 while Chiragh Kumar was a further shot back in tied 19th.
Shubhankar Sharma ended the week in tied 33rd at 11-over-299.
