Inaugural TAKE Solutions Classic to herald second half of PGTI season
• Tournament to have prize purse of Rs. 50 laks
• Top names in the field include Chikkarangappa, Khalin Joshi, Rashid Khan, Chiragh Kumar, Himmat Singh Rai, Shubhankar Sharma, Shankar Das, Shamim Khan
The inaugural TAKE Solutions Classic, scheduled to be played at the Noida Golf Course from August 3rd – 6th, 2016 will herald the second half of the Professional Golf Tour of India’s (PGTI) 2016 season. The TAKE Solutions Classic, the seventh event of the 2016 season, carries a prize purse of Rs. 50 lakh.
The tournament features some of the top Indian professionals such as 2015 Rolex Ranking champion Chikkarangappa, current Rolex Ranking leader Shubhankar Sharma, as well as Rashid Khan, Chiragh Kumar, Himmat Singh Rai, Shankar Das, Shamim Khan, Khalin Joshi, Udayan Mane, Mukesh Kumar, Feroz Ali Mollah, Ajeetesh Sandhu and Harendra Gupta to name a few.
The international challenge will be led by the Sri Lankan trio of N Thangaraja, Anura Rohana and K Prabagaran and Bangladesh’s Md Zamal Hossain Mollah.
Players like Amardip Sinh Malik, Ashok Kumar, Rahul Bajaj, Gaurav Pratap Singh, Vikrant Chopra, Arjun Singh Chaudhri, Dipankar Kaushal, Vipin Kumar Sharma, Pradeep Kumar, Raju Singh and Kashif Alam, will carry the home course advantage at the Noida Golf Course. Dipankar Kaushal and Vipin Kumar Sharma qualified for the tournament through the qualification event held by the host club.
