Shiv Kapur fires 67 in round three at Trophee Hassan, climbs up to tied 13th
Shiv Kapur (72-73-67) fired a brilliant five-under-67 in round three of the European Tour's Trophee Hassan II to move up from tied 50th to tied 13th. Kapur's total read four-under-212 after three rounds.
Shiv, the lone Indian in the tournament, came up with an amazing run of four birdies on the first four holes. He followed that up with two more birdies on the seventh and eighth to be six-under for the day through eight holes. Kapur then suffered a few setbacks with bogeys on the ninth, 10th and 14th. However, he managed to pull back two strokes with birdies on the 17th and 18th.
Kapur was placed three shots behind the joint leaders Scotsmen Andrew McArthur and Richie Ramsay and Frenchman Romain Wattel.
