Arjun Prasad rises to second place in PGTI Ranking after finishing joint runner-up along with Honey Baisoya
Gurugram’s Tapendra Ghai hung on to his lead with a tenacious even-par 70 on the final day to end his long wait for a second title at the INR 1 crore Calance Open 2025 played at the Qutab Golf Course in New Delhi.
The 29-year-old Ghai (64-67-62-70), the overnight leader by four shots, who won his only previous title on the PGTI in 2018, signed off for the week with a total of 17-under 263 to prevail by one shot. His steady last round featured three birdies and three bogeys.
Ghai’s win saw him pick up the winning cheque worth INR 15,00,000 that lifted him from 53rd to 15th position in the PGTI Order of Merit.

Gurugram’s Tapendra Ghai produced the day’s best score of eight-under 62 to build an imposing four-shot lead in round three of the INR 1 crore Calance Open 2025 being played at the Qutab Golf Course in New Delhi.
The 29-year-old Ghai (64-67-62), who won his only title on the PGTI in 2018, took his total to 17-under 193 after his penultimate round that helped him gain three spots from his overnight tied fourth place.

Calance and the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), the official sanctioning body of men’s professional golf in India, will be jointly staging the inaugural Calance Open from April 15 – 18, 2025, at the Qutab Golf Course in Delhi.
The tournament offers a total prize purse of INR 1 crore. The main event will be followed by the Pro-Am event on April 19.
Calance, the title sponsor for the event, is an end-to-end technology consulting firm now venturing into real estate.
The tournament beginning on April 15 marks the return of PGTI to Qutab Golf Course, one of the top championship venues in Delhi-NCR, after a gap of 15 years.
